Is the foundation from Anastasia Beverly Hills worth it?

I recently finished my Laura Mercier foundation and decided to try the new one from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I’m really impressed! This foundation offers medium coverage, is waterproof, and doesn’t require setting powder. Plus, it’s mineral oil-free. As someone with acne-prone skin, I have large pores on my nose, tend to get oily, and have redness in my breakout areas.

Coverage 🎨

The coverage is fantastic! After applying, you can’t see any redness on my face—it’s a lifesaver.

Setting Step 🖌️

Even though the instructions say you don’t need setting powder, I still used my Laura Mercier setting powder out of habit. It’s just part of my daily routine.

Waterproof 💧

To test its waterproof claims, I took a photo right after applying it and another after swimming and showering. My face got wet several times, and while there was some fading, I think the waterproof performance is similar to Laura Mercier’s.

Acne Situation 🧩

This foundation didn’t cause any new breakouts, which I love. It might be because it’s mineral oil-free, making it very friendly for acne-prone skin.

Drawbacks 🚫

One small downside is that it requires a lot of product—about three to four pumps to cover my entire face. In comparison, Laura Mercier requires less.

Conclusion 📝

Overall, I highly recommend it! It’s only $38, so the value for money is great. The coverage is excellent, and considering my skin condition isn’t the best, it works wonders. Both photos are unedited!
