Anastasia Beverly Hills, an Australian brand that’s been hyped by beauty influencers, just released a new eyeshadow palette. It’s made with corn starch and native Australian clay, so it’s safe for pregnant women too. I finally got my hands on one to try it out!
🍭 There are two palettes in this series: the brown one features earthy tones, and the blue one is all about jewel tones. 😌
I have to say, the duochromes are absolutely stunning! I’m in love with my first eyeshadow palette of 2019. 🌺🌺
💖 The palette includes 12 gem-inspired shades: 5 mattes, 4 shimmers, and 3 duochromes.
👀 The matte shades have a unique texture—not too rough and no fallout, but they feel a bit dry when you use your fingers, so it’s better to apply them with a brush. The color payoff is great, and they’re long-lasting. 💮
The duochromes and shimmers exceeded my expectations! They’re soft, smooth, and super pigmented. Especially the duochromes—they’re perfect for adding a pop of brightness to your lids.
Here are my top three favorite shades:
1️⃣ RUBY: A duochrome rusty red. It works as a sheer base or can be built up to intensify the outer corners. It gives a mysterious, elegant vibe and makes your skin look fairer. 🤙🏼
2️⃣ Cat’s Eye: This shade is hard to describe but feels incredibly dreamy. It’s my absolute favorite in the palette. 😌
3️⃣ Sapphire: A cool-toned deep blue with matte texture and a hint of shimmer, like a starry night sky. It’s great for blending into the outer corners or as eyeliner. I used it for my second eye look and it was stunning! 🆒
Overall, this palette has so much potential—it deserves to be a hit! 🔆 The colors are bold but surprisingly beginner-friendly since they all work well together. 💯
Plus, it’s safe for pregnant women, which is awesome. If I ever get pregnant, I can still use this palette! 🥰🥰
That’s it for this eyeshadow recommendation. Hope you all love it!
